That’s right, according to the International Energy Agency (IEA), about half-a-million solar panels were installed every day around the world last year. Moreover, the IEA says last year marked a turning point as renewables, led by wind and solar, reached a record 153 GW and represented more than half of the new power capacity generated around the world.
